Our community’s Boy Scout Troop 122 will be holding its annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Steenburgen Cemetery this weekend.  This is scheduled for 7:00pm on Saturday, dependent on weather. An alternative date in the event of weather, is Sunday at 7:00pm.  The BSA Troop wants to extend an invitation to our community to observe this honorable ceremony.  If you have a flag that needs retired, they can be taken to 103 S Spring St, the corner of Spring and Jefferson (Greg Maus & Pamela Erlenbush residence) and left in a box designated for flags to be retired by noon, this Saturday.  Please call Pamela at (217) 414-5934 or Jennifer (217) 871-5302 with any questions.
